Why Weekends?
When you are a teacher, the tempting thing might be to do a second or part time job in the evening. You might think that this is the best way
to do it, but you are going to find that it is best to save your evenings to work on lesson plans and planning, and to simply relax. You are also
going to want to be sure that you are well rested for your day of teaching, and therefore you don’t want to work late in the evenings. This means
that weekend jobs are the best.
If you find a good weekend job, you can work days on the weekends, or even just a few hours on each weekend. This can be a good supplemental
income, and it can do other things as well.
More Options
It might be a nice change for you to have a weekend job that is part time, and perhaps you are going to want it to be something easy that you
don’t have to think very hard about. A lot of people prefer to have a low stress job that they don’t need to worry about very much, and this
might be just the thing for you to find for your weekend job. Remember that this can be anything that you want it to be, so many you should look
for something that is completely different than anything else you have ever done. You might surprise yourself by finding something else that you
like to do, or by developing a new hobby.
Remember that, while working on the weekends might not be your ideal way to unwind from a week of teaching, sometimes you simply have to do
something extra to make ends meet. If you find a low stress job that you can handle easily, it might also be a way to get out in the community
and to make new friends, as well. Remember that this should be something fun, that you can do to make the extra money you need, and that you are
going to enjoy as well.
